Fatal Attraction: The Church’s Affair With The Jezebel Spirit

In the present era, an alarming alliance has formed between the spirit of Jezebel and those who claim to be followers of God. It is disheartening to witness a culture permeated by sexual immorality, pride, vanity, perversion, witchcraft, new-age beliefs, and sorcery infiltrate the very fabric of the church. Furthermore, the lust for power, fame, and money has ensnared many church leaders, causing them to bow at the altars of Baal. Who is Baal? Baal is a Canaanite deity. Canaan was supposed to be the Land of Promise, but it became a place of idolatry. In Canaan, the worship of Baal Peor refers to a specific form of Baal worship. It was a local variation or manifestation of the Canaanite god Baal, specifically associated with sexual immorality.

Jezebel and Baal Worship:

To comprehend the gravity of the situation, it is essential to understand who Jezebel and Baal are. Jezebel, a seductive and manipulative figure, led the people of Israel astray by introducing the worship of Baal. Baal, a Canaanite deity, symbolizes the false gods that the Israelites were explicitly warned against. We receive this same warning in the book of Revelations when Jesus specifically deals with the spirit of Jezebel and Baal Peor worship through Apostle John.

20 “But I have this complaint against you. You are permitting that woman—that Jezebel who calls herself a prophet—to lead my servants astray. She teaches them to commit sexual sin and to eat food offered to idols. 21 I gave her time to repent, but she does not want to turn away from her immorality.

22 “Therefore, I will throw her on a bed of suffering, and those who commit adultery with her will suffer greatly unless they repent and turn away from her evil deeds. 23 I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am the one who searches out the thoughts and intentions of every person. And I will give to each of you whatever you deserve.

Revelations 2:20-22

This cautionary message highlights the urgency for the church to recognize and resist the spirit of Jezebel in the present day. The consequences of succumbing to her influence are severe, as depicted by the suffering and judgment foretold. Many to this day are under a Jezebelic curse.

Ahab: A Weak Compromising Church:

In the Old Testament, Ahab serves as a vivid representation of a weak and compromising Christian or church in our present age. Despite being chosen to rule over God's kingdom, Ahab allowed the dominant influence of Jezebel's spirit to control him. Jezebel, in her cunning, established political alliances to exert power over Ahab and silence all opposition.

Even today, Jezebel employs political tactics to manipulate and control the masses, with a clear agenda of promoting sexual immorality and perversion. Her aim is to normalize behaviors that God explicitly condemns. Sadly, much like Ahab, numerous modern-day churches have fallen into complacency, compromising their core beliefs and surrendering to the seductive allure of worldly pleasures, particularly those of a sexual nature.

When faced with challenges, such as the recent pandemic, many of these churches chose to close their doors, succumbing to the intimidation tactics employed by the spirit of Jezebel. Regrettably, they failed to take a stand for righteousness, instead yielding to the pressures and compromises imposed upon them.

Furthermore, Jezebel had control over eunuchs, who were castrated men guarding the bedchamber. Metaphorically, this symbolizes the disempowerment of men and women from experiencing intimacy with Christ due to their entanglement in sexual immorality and indulgence in Jezebel's table. The sad reality is that a eunuch, regardless of their presence in the bedchamber, are incapable of giving birth to anything. Similarly, a church that succumbs to the influence of Jezebel and bows at the altars of her spirit will remain barren and ineffective.

But what does it mean to partake of Jezebel's table? It entails accepting her favors, gifts, and seeking her attention. It involves indulging in the tempting morsels of fleshly entertainment, being captivated by seductive music, and being enticed by the allure of scantily clad women on social media. By engaging in these behaviors, the church becomes entangled in the very web of immorality and compromise that Jezebel weaves. This not only hinders spiritual growth but also distracts from the pursuit of God's purpose and righteousness.

In light of this, we must remember the words of Jesus, who warned us about the dangers of lust and adultery. He emphasized that merely looking at someone with lustful intent is already committing adultery in one's heart. Jesus used vivid language to emphasize the seriousness of the matter, urging us to take drastic measures to guard against sin. He spoke of gouging out our eye or cutting off our hand if they cause us to sin, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing eternal salvation over momentary pleasures.

Jesus warned saying, “You have heard the commandment that says, ‘You must not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 So if your eye—even your good eye—causes you to lust, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 And if your hand—even your stronger hand—causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. Matthew 5:27-30

Jezebel and her cultural influence:

Through her pervasive cultural influence, Jezebel's presence can be felt across various domains of society. She is obviously running Hollywood and has set up Satanic rituals to celebrate her. Jezebel runs the government and seeks to control her citizens with fear and intimidation. Jezebel runs the education system and has set up her eunuchs in libraries dressed in drag. Jezebel is even behind pulpits seducing God’s children to accept her eunuchs (castrated men who think they are women) or suffer the consequences of her intimidation and wrath. Where are the Elijahs and the Jehus who will stand up against her tyranny? My friends, we have normalized perverted and sexual immoral practices. Men and women run around half-naked publicly not caring if an innocent child is visually corrupted. We would rather be comfortable in our yoga pants and show our crotch than be concerned about who is being stumbled by it. Let’s not be naïve. Jezebel is coming for your children. Molesting children, assaulting or even trafficking them is not enough for this spirit. The next point on the agenda is to normalize pedophilia. Its goal is to destroy purity from every heart. Why? Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Matthew 5:8

These issues are not things that have recently popped up. Sadly, this started long ago when Elvis Presley thought it was cool to shake his hips in a sensual manner. Later on and Michael Jackson would grab his crotch as he danced on stage. Jezebel only becomes more emboldened as no one says anything. The church has silently enjoyed many of these perverse practices and never said anything. Now men and women unashamedly dance at awards shows with barely anything on. Where is the outcry? There is none because many Christians are partaking of Jezebel’s entertainment. Recently a Pastor thought he would copy Hollywood’s Baal worship and desecrate God’s holy days. His Easter service looked like a demonic dedication to Baal. Besides a lot of complaining, the church in attendance remained silent. They didn't walk out or express any outrage. Why? Years of exposure to immoral practices on television have desensitized them. However, they should have walked out, refusing to return to an apostate church. When will the church stand up for righteousness? When will we shed our Ahab-like tendencies and stand up for children? When will we passionately defend innocence? As Jesus said, "This thing I have against you is that you tolerate Jezebel." Tolerance, in this context, means accepting or enduring something disliked or even hated to please others, becoming mere man-pleasers.

Our final response to this spirit should echo the words of Peter and the other apostles: "We ought to obey God rather than men" (Acts 5:29). Just as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego proclaimed, "We will not bow to your idols," let us remain steadfast in our commitment to God and His truth. We must throw down Jezebel from her high places of authority in prayer and let the spirit of Jehu arise destroying the household of Ahab. Let it be so Lord!

Sedition

I heard the Holy Spirit say to me, "SEDITION!" I was not entirely sure what that word meant so I looked it up. The definition is as follows:
Sedition is overt conduct, such as speech and organization, that tends toward insurrection against the established order. Sedition often includes subversion of a constitution and incitement of discontent towards or resistance against established authority.

There is major sedition and witchcraft going on behind the scenes of our nation. We need to open our eyes to the truth and our mouths in prayer. There is an organized insurrection against the established order of our country. A subverting of the Constitution and incitement of discontent toward established authority. It's rebellion fueled by months of lies and government control. In a sense, George Floyd has become a prophetic picture of worldwide governments oppressing and controlling people through fear and intimidation. We literally haven't been able to breathe with those masks on and fear has crippled our worldwide economy. It's time we remove the spirit of control from off our necks and decree (an official order issued by a legal authority) a new thing! As the church, we were called to bruise the head of the serpent. We need to kneel on the devil's head until we snuff out the devil's agenda to bring division, chaos, violence, and anarchy in our nation.

Maybe when you think of witchcraft you think of silly cartoons of witches with green faces in black clothes with a wart on their nose flying around on a broomstick. Witchcraft is more insidious (crafty, subtle, treacherous, harmful) than that. Witchcraft is being manifested in the following ways: 

1. Exercising control over another person by fear, intimidation, threats, cursing, violence, and words meant to distort the truth. The goal is to gain control of other people's will! These are also characteristics of Jezebel.

2. Sedition is also witchcraft because it is rebellion. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. 1 Samuel 15:23 Rebellion or sedition can NEVER be justified! Before anyone gets angry at this statement let me assure you that protesting isn't necessarily rebellion. Rebellion is a heart issue. Rebellion is an act of violent or open resistance to an established government or ruler that is rooted in pride.

Please note the works of the flesh:

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21

Do you see witchcraft, hatred, wrath, strife, and seditions? They are practically in the same sentence. These are manifestations of the fallen and sinful nature of mankind. These manifestations turn into demonic strongholds when people's minds (thoughts) are fueled by lies. Let me ask you who is telling lies? Who is fueling and inciting sedition? Who is controlling the narrative? Here's a hint...they sit in your living room with you every day and tell you how to see your world. They incite you to sedition, causing you to speak out in hatred, wrath and tell you to pick a political side. This is causing our nation to be divided. If you guessed the media then you guessed correctly. The problem with the media is that they are not being controlled by the Holy Ghost. They are being controlled by another spirit which is now controlling many of you!

However, we all know who really is behind all of this...
You are of your father the devil, and it is your will to practice the desires [which are characteristic] of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks what is natural to him, for he is a liar and the father of lies and half-truths. (John 8:44 AMP)

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. (1 John 4:1)

It is our job to test things to see if they are of God and inspired of God. While you may not feel like people in the media are false prophets they are false prognosticators. Their opinions taint everything they say. Their hearts are full of judgment, anger, resentment, bitterness, fear, prejudice and therefore cannot guide you in the way of Truth. We can't allow ourselves to get pulled into a fleshly fight. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the spirit of witchcraft and lies.

You might be wondering how we can quell the riots and violence in our nation. First, we need to turn our TV's off. Open our Bibles to the only Truth. Listen to the Holy Spirit who is the Spirit of Truth. Speak the truth we hear in love. That means we stop speaking the narratives we have heard from the media. Love our enemies. Pray for those who have hurt us and do good to those who have used us. Bless and not curse those in authority. (Matthew 5:44) Stop spreading rumors, gossip, and videos that spread hatred and suspicion. Strife (quarreling) grieves the Holy Spirit. We need to keep our political opinions to ourselves. We are not of this world and we need to be concern ourselves with establishing God's Kingdom! All these things are only a distraction from our Kingdom assignments.

Entertaining Spirits

The Holy Spirit woke me up out of dead sleep. He said, "Many of you are entertaining spirits! You are entertaining spirits of seduction, lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, pride of life, perversion, derision, dissension, lasciviousness, adultery, fornication, violence, witchcraft, divination, drunkenness, revelries, and the like. He showed me a poster of Marilyn Monroe and Elvis. He said, "These are icons of lust and seduction." Some are secretly entertaining witchcraft in the form of watching Harry Potter movies and other shows that practice the occult. Some are watching novelas/soap operas that are full of lust, seduction, adultery, fornication and more. Others are watching pornography, reading romance novels and other books that also entertain spirits. Then you wonder why you struggle with sin, compromise and come under heavy spiritual attack of the enemy. I want you to understand that you can't keep the foot ajar to the enemy enough to enjoy the wanton pleasures of the flesh and still be in the Spirit. Jesus said, “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!" Matthew 6:22 Our eyes are gates to the soul and spirit. Your eyes cannot serve two masters! Others of you have justified smoking marijuana because it is legal. God says, "This is witchcraft!" Nicotine is also a drug. Nicotine is a potent parasympathomimetic stimulant and an alkaloid found in the nightshade family of plants. Nicotine is highly addictive.[13][14] An average cigarette yields about 2 mg of absorbed nicotine; in lesser doses of that order, the substance acts as a stimulant in mammals, while high amounts (50–100 mg) can be harmful.[15][16][17] This stimulant effect is a contributing factor to the addictive properties of tobacco smoking. Nicotine's addictive nature includes psychoactive effects, drug-reinforced behavior, compulsive use, relapse after abstinence, physical dependence and tolerance. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicotine 

Holy Spirit also spoke to me and said, "Your mouth can't serve two masters!" Some of you are serving the master of witchcraft because you are practicing the use of drugs by smoking nicotine and marijuana. Others are drinking alcoholic beverages. He told me that some have invited unclean spirits through their mouths because they yielded their tongue to witchcraft and that's why they can't stop cursing with their mouths. 

The bible says, "Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God." Galatians 5:19-21 In the Greek this word "witchcraft" means the use and administration of drugs. 

Let's talk about the ear gates. There are some who listen to music full of lust, seduction, violence, and dishonor to authority and women. Again you are entertaining spirits. Have you ever been on the Disneyland ride at the Haunted Mansion then looked in the mirror and there was a ghost riding with you. Look no further. What you have been doing has caused demons to attach to you. Some of you are literally tormented in your sleep, your health, finances, and relationships. We not supposed to be doing these things or hanging out with ANYONE who is doing these things. "I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people. 10 Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. 11 But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person.12 For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? 13 But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.” 1 Corinthians 5:9-13 Does not the bible say not to keep company with anyone called a brother who practices these sins? Sorry but if you claim to be a Christian and are actively engaged in entertaining spirits then I can't hang out with you! Last night we had two women come up for deliverance. One came under demonic attack after allowing a man to come into her life who was practicing witchcraft the other was under attack from watching novelas. Jesus said, "If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire. 9 And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire." Matthew 18:8-9 It is better for some of you to get rid of your TV than for it to keep you out of the Kingdom! It is better for some of you to cut off some members of your family than for you to stay out of the Kingdom! Whatever it is or whoever it is; you are responsible for protecting your eye gates, ear gates, and mouths. We are gatekeepers of our souls and hearts. The Pastor can't do this for you. I assure you that you will spend less time in a prayer line if you guard your heart with all diligence. 

One last thing: I personally had a major issue with TV so I'm speaking from experience. The moment I obeyed the Holy Ghost on this matter, the windows of heaven opened up and I got $7,000 in the mail. We didn't know it but we had been included in a class action lawsuit and won! They found us and mailed us the money. Hallelujah! Your breakthrough is in obeying God's word! Obedience leads to blessing! I could have rolled over in bed this morning but the Holy Spirit was speaking loudly he wants to see his children live in freedom!

Let's pray:

Dear God, I'm tired of being under spiritual attack. Falling into the same sin and habits. Living defeated. Getting ripped off of finances, and blessings. I repent and make a decision today to close every possible door to the devil. I refuse to serve two masters or come under the cruel whip of the devil. I refuse the be the devil's puppet. Forgive me. I choose today not associate with or be in a relationship with anyone who does things that grieve and hurt you. To put them first is idolatry. Holy Spirit come, and cleanse me of every evil spirit I opened the door to and teach me how to live holy. Your word says the pure shall see God. Matthew 5:8 Empower me to live for you by your grace in Jesus name! I choose to forgive those who have hurt me and loose the offense from my heart. Forgive me for entertaining spirits and giving them access to my life in Jesus name!

I pray: I command every spirit of witchcraft, lust, seduction, adultery, fornication, derision, reviling, idolatry, uncleanness, lies, deception, anger, pride, drunkenness, control, strife, Jezebel and anything that was opened through willful disobedience to come out of those who have prayed this prayer in Jesus name! We revoke your legal rights and access in the name of Jesus. Take your hands off their finances, children, marriage, mind, will, and emotions. We command the spirit of fear to loose its grip over their life. Spirit of infirmity GO! Lack and poverty GO! In Jesus mighty name! May God's peace be restored to you in the Jesus name! Amen. Entertaining Spirits Unaware

Sometime in ignorance Christians entertain spirits unaware. Ever went on that Disneyland ride at the Haunted Mansion and looked in the mirror to see that you had picked up some companions along the way? Well, sometimes we pick up some unwanted spirits by the things we allow at home. Here are some examples:

Testimony: Deliverance from Witchcraft

Every night was a nightmare for me as a child. The room seemed to breathe, terrifying dreams disturbed my sleep and sickness filled my body. Countless nights I spent in front of the TV as a child unable to fight off the fear and demons that visited me every night. What made things worse was that my Dad worked at night and I felt totally unprotected. Whenever I could I would try to sneak into the room and maybe find some comfort. I was sent back to my room every time. No one knew the torment I was living or why I was suffering from insomnia at such a young age.

What could have caused such anguish to begin? A simple trip to a witch-doctor as a baby in Mexico. I was deathly ill and it seemed like the only recourse of action. These kinds of self-proclaimed healers don't require insurance or much money. That open door not only kept me sick for years but became an occasion to later seduce me into becoming a witch. One way or another the demons were determined to end my life at a young age and stirred up a drug-addicted teen to end my life. I remember very clearly the day she took out a knife out the drawer and told me that she would kill me if I ever told anyone of her hatred towards me. I was around 6 or so. Too scared to tell anyone I kept it to myself. Unfortunately, my parents decided to go on vacation with this family and I spent my whole time in the tent too scared to come out. Thinking that I was being stubborn and disobedient my Father beat me to get me to come out. It did not work. A beating was far better than death in my young mind.

Physical punishment became part of my childhood and intimidation was used to get me to obey. I think this is the reason I became so introverted and shy. I could never look people in the eyes or speak without blushing. At school, things were not any different. I endured bullying for most of my school life. One time I was followed home and beat up by two boys because they were jealous of me and did not like my race. They decided to follow me after winning a stack of encyclopedias. One of the boys took their bike and rammed it into me while the other punched me in the stomach. I did not know how to defend myself. Another time I was followed home by another boy who grabbed me from behind and tried to sexually assault me. Fortunately, I was able to free myself from him by stepping on his foot.

After a while, I grew weary of the abuse and bullying. During a family vacation at Yosemite when I was 11, a spirit came to me and spoke to me, "Would you like to be strong and powerful?" I can't describe the seduction of that faint whisper and all I can think about was to the TV shows I used to watch. There was a show about a woman who had multiple personalities and it helped her overcome the abuse in her life. There was also a sitcom called Bewitched that had the character use their magical powers to solve their problems. Could I obtain such power I wondered? The seducing spirit gave me assurance that when I woke up that I would be different. When I woke up something had taken over with my full permission. My life took a slow but steady descent into the depths of darkness and the realm of Satan's kingdom.

I went from being shy to being angry and violent. I became the bully and I began my reign of terror on all those who crossed me. My sister used to hide in the bathroom so I wouldn't beat her up. I was around 13 at the time. The devil knew what he had to do to draw me in even more so he sent a girl whose mother was a witch to teach me witchcraft. Soon I was ditching school just to learn tarot cards, palm reading and mind reading. I was intrigued by psychic abilities and began practicing all of it. I was able to open locked doors, throw things with my mind, know what people were thinking and curse them. One day I did a séance for a friend and a spirit showed up scaring everyone who was there. I tried to conduct another séance on my 16th birthday but the prayers of a Christian kept me from being able to do anything. In Jr. High while reading someone's palm at school a girl accused me of witchcraft. Astonished by her accusation I told her I was a white witch. I was so deceived. The more I enjoyed the power I was given, the more I became lost, and soon found that I was losing my mind. By today's standards, I would have been diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenic or bipolar. My mother threatened to send me to a mental institution and at times I felt like I was on the verge of insanity.

Unfortunately, during those years I started to drink, become paranoid, see shadows, hear voices and lose control over my emotions. One day I was having a mental meltdown more like a demonic manifestation when a friend came over to slap some sense into me. I was crying, screaming, and laughing all at once. She jumped on my bed with me, slapped me, and started to shake me so would snap out of it. The demon didn't like that and threw her against the wall like a rag doll. She left my room frightened. Another friend tried to intervene and talk to me about my drinking. I kept a bottle of wine under my bed. I stopped my drinking but it didn't get rid of my crazy. During that time my goal in life was to have as many boyfriends as I was old not because I wanted to be loved but because I hated men so much I wanted to seduce them and dump them. I wanted them to feel the pain I felt because I had been abused by them. 

It wasn't before long that depression set in. I tried running away from my problems and would be gone days at a time. Sleeping and fending for myself on the streets. I was a homeless youth trying to find a place of safety and rest. Finally, I had convinced myself that there was no love and life was not worth living. I started to plan a way to end my life. Yet another voice spoke up and told me that I did not have the right to take the life that God had given me. This idea might be strange to some of you but I was in church most of the time when these things were going on. It proves that religion will never set you free. Only faith in the cross of Christ can bring liberty to the captive.

In God's mercy, he sent me a friend named John. He stopped hanging out with us during lunch and I was curious as to his whereabouts. He told me he was studying the Bible during lunch. I accused him of being too good for us. He told me that I was more than welcome to join him. Feeling challenged by his invitation I went to the Bible study more out of spite and to show him that I was not intimidated by his invitation. As I entered the cafeteria there were a bunch of Christians praying. I was embarrassed by their open declaration of faith. When they were through praying I sat down and they read the following text:

Acts 16:16-18

And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: ¹⁷ The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.

¹⁸ And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

Suddenly, I felt naked in that room, I wanted to hide and my heart felt like something had pierced it. I felt like God's finger literally was pointing at me and saying, "This scripture is about you!" I found a way to excuse myself and felt injured like something was still ripping away at my mind. I couldn't shake it and for the next few weeks, I battled with the reality that I had a demon that needed to be cast out.  I was possessed with the spirit of divination and witchcraft. I decided to take matters into my own hands and tell it to leave me and enter a doll I had. No success. I grew more suicidal and desperate.

In my desperation, I heard a still small voice tell me that I had no right to take the life God had given me. I felt led to open the Yellow pages and look for a church called Calvary Church. I had visited this church with my uncle one time in San Pedro and the presence of God was so thick that it made me weep the whole time I was there. All I knew was that I wanted to experience that again. I found a church a few miles from my house and decided to walk there. It was miles away but I was determined.

It wasn't long before I was befriended by the youth and one of them told me I needed to be born again. I couldn't grasp the concept. Then he told me that the devil would do anything to keep me from God and church. Sure enough, I started experience persecution at home and the battle was being waged to keep me from my deliverance. I felt the strength to press on so I kept on going to church though my family was opposed. While meditating on what I needed to do to get free, I felt like God opened up my understanding to this truth, "When I come in, everyone else has to leave!" I knew what I had to do to get delivered from the demons in my life. I had to invite Jesus into my very being and everyone else would have to go! At least that's what I thought.

Excited, about Jesus setting me free, I asked the youth pastor if could get saved. Shocked by this because the youth group was rather lukewarm he had me kneel down and he had me pray the sinner's prayer. To make sure it came from my heart, I prayed again this time making sure it was my words, not his. Immediately, after I prayed I felt a weight leave me, my mind became clear and I knew my captivity was over. I will never forget that day with Pastor Dewey it was on a Wednesday night February 2, 1982. I must have walked on clouds for weeks after that.

I had simply had shifted from darkness to light and now the voice of my shepherd was loud and clear. I became so conscious of His presence and one morning I heard him calling my name. Thinking it was my parents I asked them what they wanted. They could not hear me but I could hear the voice again. Finally, I sat up realizing that it wasn't my parents who were calling me. The voice began saying, "I am the Alpha and Omega; the beginning and the end. The bread of life. Feed my sheep." I knew that God had called me to a greater purpose. It was years before I was ready to answer that calling.

I wish I could say that this was the end of the story but it isn't. Shortly after I gave my life to Jesus I got into sexual immorality and I got infested with demons again.  Even though I spent years in the church I could not get free from this generational iniquity. No matter how much I prayed, read my Bible, and attended church those demons started to cause me problems. I honestly thought I was born again but I never died. I never repented. I only accepted Jesus or incorporated him into my life. I never got out from behind the steering wheel. When I opened this door of sexual immorality, I also opened the door to a Jezebel and Ahab spirit. I continued for years struggling in my relationships and in my walk with God. I thought I could never be free until I finally had those demons cast out of me! If you are reading this today and find yourself trapped and captive in the enemy's camp. I have great news for you. You can be free from your captivity. The truth is when Jesus died for all of us he defeated every dark and evil force in the universe. His blood was shed on the cross to forgive us of all sin and destroy every claim the devil has over us. All you need to do is repent and get baptized then you can receive your deliverance. Surrender to God, ask Him to forgive you, forgive all those who have hurt you, and He will set you free. What you say isn't as important as placing your trust in what He has already done for you.
