Evidence of Revival

The evidence of revival on our lives isn't power. It's love. Power is evidence of consecration. Consecration is birthed from a place of love. If you love me...you'll obey me Jesus said. We can only do this by faith and grace. Faith works by love. Grace is God's love empowering us. So where do we get this love? The Holy Spirit. He sheds that love upon our hearts. It all comes from God as a free gift. Our efforts are better spent being in the presence of The Godhead than trying to be "Good" Christians. We can become love when we keep company with the one who is love. Jaziz Gutierrez 

Prophetic Warning: Scarcity

 

In a previous video, I shared a vision about the Lord shaking a sleeping bride. This message serves as a continuation of that prophetic vision and exhortation. Tonight, I want to delve into Psalm 106, which lays the foundation for the prophetic word I'm about to share.

Psalm 106 begins:
“Praise ye the Lord! O give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good, for His mercy endures forever. Who can utter the mighty acts of the Lord? Who can show forth all His praise? Blessed are they that keep judgment and he that does righteousness at all times. Remember me, O Lord, with the favor that Thou bearest unto Thy people; visit me with Thy salvation, that I may see the good of Thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of Thy nation, that I may glory with Thine inheritance. We have sinned with our fathers; we have committed iniquity; we have done wickedly. Our fathers understood not Thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of Thy mercies, but provoked Him at the sea, even at the Red Sea. Nevertheless, He saved them for His name's sake, that He might make His mighty power to be known. He rebuked the Red Sea also, and it was dried up, so He led them through the depths as through the wilderness. And He saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy. And the waters covered their enemies; there was not one of them left. Then they believed His words; they sang His praise. They soon forgot His works; they waited not for His counsel, but lusted exceedingly in the wilderness and tempted God in the desert. And here is the key verse: ‘And He gave them their request, but sent leanness into their soul.’”

The term “leanness” here means scarcity. I keep hearing the Lord say, “Scarcity, scarcity, scarceness, lack is coming.” As the Lord shook the bride three times, He revealed that three things would occur to awaken us. The first is scarceness and lack, which are already beginning but will worsen.

You might wonder why God would allow this. The answer lies in the fact that we requested leaders who do not fear the Lord or adhere to righteousness. We prioritized other agendas over righteousness, neglecting to stand up for moral values. The virus kept us from gathering and praying, leading to further spiritual complacency.

Just as the people in the Bible lusted in the wilderness and tempted God, we have similarly failed to trust Him. Because of this, God sent leanness to their souls, and He will do the same for our nation if we do not repent. We must turn to God, stop compromising in the church, and set boundaries for righteousness. We have become so focused on maintaining relationships and being politically correct that we have neglected our duty to stand up for God’s righteousness.

The fear of man is causing our spiritual backsliding. We are more concerned with being relevant than upholding God’s standards in our homes, schools, and churches. If we do not speak out against the compromise and sin around us, we are failing in our responsibility.

There is still hope. If we pray and seek God earnestly, He might relent from His judgment, as He did with Nineveh. God is both merciful and just. He cannot simply overlook sin; He must judge it to remain just.

I urge you to gather your friends and start praying. A wave of judgment is coming. Stand firm on God’s Word, His promises, and in obedience. Prepare your heart and your home. If we are not vigilant, we will be caught unprepared.

Let’s take a moment to pray together.

"Lord, we come before You tonight and ask for Your forgiveness. We repent for the compromises we have made, for not standing up for righteousness, and for being silent when we should have spoken out. Forgive us for taking Your blessings for granted. We humble our hearts and commit to putting our house in order, prioritizing our relationship with You over the fear of what others think. Help us to uphold righteousness and make You our highest priority. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Prophetic Word: I'm Going To Shake My Sleeping Bride!

I recently had a vision where I saw the hand of God shaking a sleeping bride. In this vision, the bride was lying down, deep in slumber. I heard the Lord declare, “I am going to shake My bride three times. She has been asleep for too long. I had sent her to be a watchman on the wall, but while she slept and stayed home from the battle, the enemy advanced, taking more territory. While she cowered in fear, the enemy began to take members of the family into captivity.”

The Lord is calling us to fight. We must battle to free the prisoners of war and to be liberated from our own captivity. Do you know why the bride wears combat boots? She was designed for battle. She was created to tread on serpents and scorpions, meant to walk all over the enemy because he is cursed to crawl on his belly. Rise up; your time has come. We must fight.

Many of us might wonder why it seems the enemy has advanced so much. There's a scripture that says, “While men slept, the enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat.” We’ve been sleeping in a spiritual sense by neglecting prayer. We see full attendance at church meetings and potlucks, but prayer meetings are often poorly attended. Didn’t Jesus instruct the disciples to “watch and pray”? He warned them that without prayer, they wouldn’t be prepared for their trials. They were unready because they didn’t pray, they weren’t vigilant; they were asleep.

I saw the hand of the Lord shaking the sleeping bride three times. This shaking is coming, and it will wake us all up. We cannot let the kingdom of darkness keep advancing in our personal lives without doing anything about it. Some might think their personal sins don’t affect anyone else, but that’s not true. Your personal sin impacts the entire body of Christ. If you don’t address your sin, you weaken us all.

I hate to be blunt, but we are all connected like a chain. If you’re the weakest link, we are all affected. Look at the story of Achan in Joshua chapter 7. The nation of Israel lost a battle because Achan was hiding forbidden things in his tent. Many of us are hiding forbidden things in the tent of our lives, trying to be secretive. However, the enemy knows when we compromise; he sees us as easy targets. Your compromise affects the entire body of Christ, not just yourself.

Each individual’s walk with God impacts the corporate and national levels. Revival starts with one person. Will you be that person? Will you be the bride who wears her combat boots even to bed? God wants a bride that is always ready. If you spend hours in front of a TV and are complacent, you won’t be prepared. Unity is crucial in these times. Pentecost came because of the unity in prayer of the early church. The Holy Spirit came with fire on a strategic day when everyone was gathered.

God wants to position and armor us. He wants to teach us how to fight the good fight of faith. Please don’t be discouraged or weary. In due season, you will reap if you don’t lose heart. We need to build spiritual faith muscles and trust that God will get us through, no matter what happens in the world. We must be led by Jesus, our Captain, and break free from apathy.

There is a book titled This Day We Fight by Francis Frangipane that I plan to read. We need to overcome apathy because it’s destroying us as a church. It’s making us complacent and unwilling to rise up and fight. For those weary soldiers listening, don’t get distracted. Evaluate whether God is speaking to you through this message. Our distractions, such as constantly scrolling through social media, hinder our ability to hear God’s voice.

The Lord spoke to me years ago, saying that our survival would depend on hearing His voice. How can we hear Him if we’re constantly distracted? The Holy Spirit wants to be the only voice we hear, but how can He do that if we’re overwhelmed by other voices? The Bible says, “My sheep hear My voice.” If we can’t focus on a 10-minute message, how will we hear God in our daily lives?

We mustn’t treat God as our personal servant with a to-do list. We are His servants. We need to spend time turning everything off and asking Him what He wants to say. What is He speaking to His bride in this hour? He wants us to wake up. I saw the hand of the Lord shaking the bride three times, and something is going to shake us up and wake us up. This is not because He dislikes us, but because He wants us to arise as the warriors He’s called us to be.

Triage - Prophetic Insight

I heard the word “Triage.” This was in January of 2024. When I enquired of the Lord what this meant He gave me the example of a hospital setting where people come to get medical attention. The term “triage” comes from the French word for “sort.” In the hospital setting, it’s the process by which patients are assessed and prioritized based on the type and urgency of their conditions. It is determining if someone is sick or not sick and how quickly they need to be seen.

In a church setting it is also assessing, and prioritizing the urgency and level of care people are going to need when they come into the church. Why this is important, it is because the Lord wants his ecclesia (His remnant) to be ready for the End Time Harvest. Even now the Lord is raising End Time Harvesters but wants His people to be trained in various areas to help those who will be coming in. This mandate is only for those who are willing to lay down their life for the sheep. I hear the Lord say, “The Celebrity Gospel is over and the Lord is going to raise the Mother Theresa’s of the Street.”

The areas that will require training will be: Mental Health that will require Deliverance, Abuse that will require inner healing, Domestic Violence, Addiction, Marriages/Families and people coming out of the LGBTQ community. I hear the Lord say, “Crisis.” There is going to be a huge crisis emerging and we will need to be ready. The Lord has been already speaking to many of you to prepare so don’t delay. Preparations must be made. Kingdom finances need to be spent for harvest as well as time and resources. Kingdom managers and entrepreneurs are being raised up to finance the End Time Harvest. Please don’t delay your ideas and put them into place. Do not be like the unwise servant who hid their talents because they were afraid of things not being good enough for the Master.

“The servant given one thousand said, ‘Master, I know you have high standards and hate careless ways, that you demand the best and make no allowances for error. I was afraid I might disappoint you, so I found a good hiding place and secured your money. Here it is, safe and sound down to the last cent.’

26-27 “The master was furious. ‘That’s a terrible way to live! It’s criminal to live cautiously like that! If you knew I was after the best, why did you do less than the least? The least you could have done would have been to invest the sum with the bankers, where at least I would have gotten a little interest.

28-30 “‘Take the thousand and give it to the one who risked the most. And get rid of this “play-it-safe” who won’t go out on a limb. Throw him out into utter darkness.’ Matthew 25:24-30 MSG


There is no condemnation here but please understand that we will give an account for the stewardship of everything that has been given to us. This is the point of this parable. Pay close attention to Matthew chapters 24 and 25 as well as Joel chapters 2 and 3 we will be living out of these chapters. There is a rapid acceleration and many of you will feel it as the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of darkness vet for souls. Many will wake up and realize that they have been apostasy and will return. Some will allow disappointment with the sin in the church to cause their hearts to grow cold. Don’t let that be you. Some will awaken to their true purpose and destiny! They will become the Esthers and Josephs of our modern time; garnering the favor of our King and storing up grain for the Kingdom!

I hear the Lord say, “I’m going to expose the warlock and witches in my church! I’m throwing them out and all the hirelings with them. Don’t feel sorry for those I expose. You keep your eyes on Me and continue to listen to the Spirit of Truth even if it hurts you to hear it!”


Lastly,

I heard the Lord say, “The drought is over.” He gave me this scripture out of Joel.

Be glad then, you children of Zion,

And rejoice in the Lord your God;

For He has given you the former rain faithfully,

And He will cause the rain to come down for you—

The former rain,

And the latter rain in the first month.

The threshing floors shall be full of wheat,

And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil. Joel 2:23-24


The Latter Rain is here. Let us get ready for harvest! I am speaking to my Nehemiah’s now, “Pick up your hammer and sickle. It’s time for apostolic building and equipping. It is time to fill my Ark! Come on, preachers of righteousness don’t retreat upon their insults nor be dismayed at their delusions. You keep your eyes fixed on Me. Get out of their social media mud pools."


"Those of you who insist on tearing down my Kingdom with your words will be marked and have no part of what I am about to do. I don’t tear people down, I remind them of who they are so they can live up to their identity in me. Many of you miss the point of the gospel. I came to seek and save which is lost. I leave the 99 for the one. I forgive 70 x 7. I did not come into the world to condemn the world. Am I slack? No. I am not willing that anyone should perish. I am also not a pushover God that will allow you to insult the Spirit of Grace. It is more important that you know my heart than for you to know the scriptures or my laws. The Pharisees knew the scriptures but couldn’t even recognize Me when I sat with them and could not properly interpret my words because their hearts were full of pride and they only had head knowledge. Learn from this. I desire that you would know mercy. I desire that you would have My heart above church attendance, scripture knowledge, repetitious prayers, and even evangelistic efforts. Without my love, your achievements will amount to nothing more than a facade of godliness or religious practices, lacking the essence of who I truly am. Eternal life is found in knowing Me, I Am Love.

Pride: The Hidden Obstacle in Overcoming Addiction

Pride, often seen as a virtue, can become a vice when it prevents us from acknowledging our weaknesses and seeking help. This is particularly true in the context of addiction, where pride can be a significant barrier to recovery.

The Nature of Pride

Pride is a complex emotion that can manifest in various ways. It can be a sense of self-worth and accomplishment, but it can also be a defensive mechanism that shields us from acknowledging our flaws and vulnerabilities. In the context of addiction, pride often manifests as a refusal to admit that we have a problem and need help.

Pride tells us that we don't need to take responsibility for our actions, that we don't need help, and that we can handle our addiction on our own. It can make us think that others are trying to control us, causing us to be defensive, and resistant to change.  It can also disguise itself as "knowing what it is best" and "nobody can tell me what to do" twisting our perception of ourselves and others.

Pride and Addiction

Addiction thrives on secrecy and denial. It convinces us that we are in control, even when our lives are spiraling out of control. Pride feeds into this illusion of control, making it difficult for us to admit that we are struggling and need help.

Pride can also make us resistant to seeking help. It can make us feel that we should be able to overcome our addiction on our own, without the need for therapy, or support groups. This can lead to a cycle of addiction, where we continue to use despite the negative consequences because we are too proud to seek help.

Overcoming Pride with the 12 Steps

The 12 Steps of Celebrate Recovery provide a spiritual pathway to overcome pride and addiction. Here's how they can help:

1.  Admitting Powerlessness: The first step is to admit that we are powerless over our addictions and that our lives have become unmanageable. This is a direct challenge to pride, which tells us that we are in control and can manage our addiction on our own. Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am weak; O Lord, heal me, for my bones are troubled. (Psalm 6:2)

2.  Believing in a Higher Power: The second step is to believe that a power greater than ourselves can restore us to sanity. This requires humility, the opposite of pride because we are admitting that only God can help restore us.
But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6)

3.  Turning Our Will Over to God: The third step is to make a decision to turn our lives and our wills over to the care of God. This involves letting go of our pride and self-will, and trusting in God's will for our lives.
"Not My will, but Yours, be done.” (Luke 22:42)

4.  Making a Moral Inventory: The fourth step is to make a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves. This requires honesty, humility, and a willingness to acknowledge our faults and weaknesses.
Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me, and know my anxieties;
And see if there is any wicked way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting. ( Psalm 139:22-24)

5.  Admitting Our Wrongs: The fifth step is to admit to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs. This is a direct challenge to pride, which often prevents us from admitting our mistakes and asking for forgiveness.
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. (James 5:16)

6.  Becoming Ready for God to Remove Our Defects: The sixth step is to become entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character. This requires humility and a willingness to change. 
And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:13)

7.  Asking God to Remove Our Shortcomings: The seventh step is to humbly ask God to remove all our shortcomings. This involves acknowledging our need for God's grace and mercy, and our inability to overcome our addiction on our own.
“Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” (Joel 2:12)

The remaining steps involve making amends, continuing to take personal inventory, improving our conscious contact with God, and carrying the message to others. These steps all require humility and a willingness to let go of our pride.

Conclusion

Pride can be a significant obstacle in overcoming addiction, but it is not insurmountable. By acknowledging our pride, seeking help, and practicing humility, we can overcome our addiction and start on the path to recovery. The 12 Steps provide a spiritual pathway to overcome pride and addiction and to live a life of recovery and freedom.

Breaking Free from Codependency: Being Authentic

 

Codependency is a complex and often misunderstood concept. It's a relationship dynamic where one person sacrifices their own needs and desires to meet the needs of another. This dynamic is often seen in relationships where one person is an addict but can also occur in any type of relationship.

The sad thing about addiction and codependency is that they don't allow you to be authentic. Addiction is self-absorbed and it alters your personality. Codependency always tries to please others at the cost of being true to your dreams and aspirations. Addiction destroys our dreams and codependency forfeits them to make others happy. Either way, our identity is lost in both of these situations.

As long as we keep striving to make things happen on our own, we will never be able to break the cycle, be our true authentic selves, and fulfill our God-given destiny.
So, how can we break free from this cycle of codependency?

Recognize the Problem

The first step to breaking free from codependency is recognizing that there's a problem. This can, be difficult as codependency is often rooted in our fear of rejection and our need for acceptance.
Understand the Role of Fear
Codependency is rooted in the fear of man. Not being afraid of people but rather trying to make others happy at the expense of your own happiness, personal goals, dreams, and etc. When we aim at pleasing others instead of God, we make them our idols and yield our control over to them because of our own fears.

Trusting in God

Trust in God is not just about belief, but also about hope. It's about having faith that God will guide us, even in our darkest moments. When we trust in God, we are blessed and filled with hope. This trust is not passive, but active. It's about believing that God exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. When we aim at pleasing others instead of God, we make them our idols and yield our control over to them because of our own fears. By placing our trust in God, we can break free from the cycle of codependency and live a life that is true to our authentic selves.

Let Go and Let God

There's a misery to playing God in other people's lives. First, you can never get it right. You don't really know how to meet the deepest need of the human heart. That's when you choose either to allow God to step in or continue doing a lousy job playing his role. You need to step down so he can step in. This is the famous let go and let God thing everyone talks about. This is breaking codependency. You step down from your position of being God and trust Him to do his job.

Being Authentic

Breaking free from codependency means being authentic and transparent. It means letting go of the need to please others and instead focusing on pleasing God and fulfilling your own dreams and aspirations.

In conclusion, breaking free from codependency is a journey. It's a journey of self-discovery, of letting go, and of embracing your true authentic self. It's a journey that requires courage, faith, and a lot of self-love. But it's a journey worth taking.

Prayer

Father, we humbly ask you that you help us trust you and surrender the ones that we love to you. You are God and we are not. We don't know what is best for them and we can't fix them. We are going to stop compromising just to keep them happy. We command all fear of losing control to leave us now in Jesus' name! All anxiety and fear of the unknown to go in Jesus' name! We thank you now that you will take care of all our concerns the moment we let go and let you do your job.

Addiction: The Illusion of Liberty

One of the biggest lies of the enemy is believing that liberty means living for ourselves and doing what we want to do. From the beginning of time, Satan has tempted mankind to take the same route as he did and so we can become our own masters. Like he told Adam and Eve, 'you shall be like gods.' Just like he did when he said, 'For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north.' (Isaiah 14:13) Satan did indeed become his own master to sit on his own throne in hell. Separated from love, light, peace, and a life without God. Like they say, misery loves company. Believe me when I tell you that the devil wants your company.

The Kingdom of Darkness is always promising liberty to those who still want to be in control of their lives. The truth is the solicitors from hell know that the moment we take their offer we come under the bondage and slavery of whatever we yielded to. They seduce and deceive us to be, 'Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.' The word heady means to fall headlong by being reckless. The word highminded means to be blinded with pride. Pride is the devil's ticket into our lives. If he can convince us that we know better than God then he convinces us to become gods over our own lives. What he doesn't tell us is that we become his slaves the moment we do. There are only two masters in this world: Yahweh or Satan. There is no middle category. We are either servants of God or servants of the devil. Jesus said, 'No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other, or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and ?.' (Luke 16:13) You fill in the blank.

Today you have a choice. Are you going to serve self, and your fleshly desires so you become Satan's slave or will you serve Jesus and become his servant, fully surrendered to do His will? Who are you going to yield your life to?

In the context of addiction and codependency, this choice becomes even more critical. Addiction and codependency are forms of bondage, where we become slaves to our desires or to the desires of others. They rob us of our true identity and prevent us from living our God-given destiny. As the scripture says, 'While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.' (2 Peter 2:19)

Breaking free from the cycle of addiction and codependency is a multi-step process. It begins with acknowledging the existence of a problem. This is followed by understanding the role fear plays in our lives, often acting as a driving force behind our unhealthy behaviors.

Next, we must place our trust in God, believing in His power to heal and transform us. This involves surrendering control, a concept often referred to as 'letting go and letting God.' It's about releasing our tight grip on our lives and allowing God to guide us.

Being authentic about our struggles is another crucial step. It's about being honest with ourselves and others about our experiences, feelings, and the challenges we face. It's about removing the masks we wear and revealing our true selves.

The journey also involves soul searching and taking a fearless inventory of our lives. This means examining our past decisions, understanding why we made them, and acknowledging their impact on our lives.

This journey isn't easy. It requires courage to face our fears and shortcomings, faith to believe in a power greater than ourselves, and a lot of self-love to nurture our wounded spirits. But despite its challenges, this journey is worth taking. It's a path to freedom, healing, and a more authentic life.

So, who are you yielding your life to today?"

Prophetic Message: Collision Course

 

Introduction:

In the midst of the chaotic world we live in, have you ever had a sense that something significant is happening? That we have crossed a threshold, venturing beyond the point of no return? Such thoughts have been weighing on my heart, and I believe it's crucial to pay attention to the signs around us. Today, I want to share with you my reflections on the current state of affairs and the urgency for spiritual preparedness.

The Acceleration: It feels as if we are aboard a speeding train, hurtling through time with a sense of recklessness. We, the passengers, are engrossed in the distractions inside the train, oblivious to the world passing by. Yet, a shift has occurred. We sense it in the very atmosphere, affecting even the weather. We must open our eyes and see the truth unfolding before us.

Scripture reminds us of the words spoken by the prophet Daniel: "But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge" (Daniel 12:4). In these last days, knowledge is indeed increasing exponentially. Technological advancements and global connectivity are transforming our world at an unprecedented pace. It is a clear sign that we are living in prophetic times.

The Warning: While the train of our lives hurtles forward, it is crucial to recognize the danger we face. We are dangerously close to veering off the rails. The collision course we are on with something beyond our imagination will shock us for years to come. The COVID-19 pandemic may have been a wake-up call, but what lies ahead will surpass even that.

In these times, it is essential to be firmly anchored to Jesus. We must be rooted in His love, walking in obedience, and in tune with the Holy Spirit. There is no room for fence-sitting or pursuing our own agendas. As followers of Christ, we have a mandate to advance God's Kingdom.

The Call to Action: While many remain unaware, there are those who have looked out of the windows and discerned the signs. They understand the urgency of the hour. If you are reading this, you might be one of those people. You are called to be a light in the darkness, to stand firmly on the side of truth and righteousness.

Let us come together as the body of Christ, united in purpose. As we witness the approaching collision, let us intensify our prayer meetings. Let us seek the face of God and intercede for our families, communities, and nations. For it is through prayer that we align ourselves with God's will and invite His intervention in these tumultuous times.

Scripture tells us, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Conclusion: The signs of the times are all around us. The world is changing rapidly, and we must not be caught off guard. By staying connected to Jesus, rooted in His love, and guided by the Holy Spirit, we can navigate the challenges ahead.

Let us heed the warning, intensify our prayers, and work together to advance God's Kingdom. The collision course we are on requires our utmost commitment and dedication. May we be found faithful, ready to face the future with unwavering faith and hope.

Build People Not Platforms

As I woke up this morning and was thinking about my week, those I had to disciple, the platforms we were building online; the Lord interrupted my thoughts with this important statement, “Build people, not platforms.” He followed up the statement by saying, “You don’t build the Kingdom of God like you do a business.” I was initially stunned by this revelation but knew in my heart that what I heard made sense. It is so important to be on the same page as Yahweh. When you build a platform, it can become about you building an audience. If we make it about building an audience then we will become man-pleasers being influenced by the masses instead of influencing the masses by the Holy Spirit. We can unintentionally be caught up in building numbers online, likes, algorithms, and seeking to be known. In order not to fall into the trap of building platforms instead people we need to get our priorities correct. Yeshua exhorts us to, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”Matthew 6:33

Many years ago, I had an encounter with Yeshua on the living room floor of my friend’s house. I had just prayed some repentance prayers over my family and myself when suddenly I was in the throne room of the Lord Almighty. As I lay there prostrate on my face I can see Yeshua’s sandals approaching; I was too afraid to look up. The fear of Yahweh was all over me. I heard Yeshua say, “Serve me only, do not go back to the Kingdom of men.” As I came out of this vision my immediate reaction was, “Wait! What? I was serving the kingdom of men instead of the Kingdom of Yahweh?” I can’t express the disappointment I felt when I heard that. Days afterward, I continued to ponder on the meaning of this. Here are some questions that I had to ask the Holy Spirit to get a proper perspective on what He was trying to show me.

Where is the Kingdom of God?
“Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; ²¹ nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17:20-21
In this verse, Yeshua says that the “Kingdom of God is within people.” We see that Jesus’ primary function when he began in ministry was to invest his time in the lives of twelve men. He walked with these men, counseled them, taught them scripture, corrected them, and eventually left them to continue growing what He had started. Just one disciple (Peter) was able to grow the church by 3,000 people in one day after He had been filled with the Holy Spirit.

How do you build the Kingdom of God or His Church?
This same disciple (Peter) states the following: You also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:5
We build the Kingdom of Yahweh one life at a time. The other function of Jesus’ ministry was to minister to the broken, sick, and oppressed. This was his primary mission as stated in his first opening statement or sermon in a church service.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; Luke 4:18
If you don’t have time for people then you shouldn’t be in ministry. Ministry is about people and serving them. We get into error if we believe that people should be serving us and our interests or helping us build our personal kingdom/business. I once heard a Pastor say this from the pulpit, “What’s in it for me?” This was his mantra. When I had initially visited this church I had a vision of yellow barrels that had the words written on them,” Caution Toxic Waste!” It was not long after that the church closed down. If you are a minister with this type of mindset; please know that it’s toxic to you and the people around you. It is contrary to the mindset of Jesus.

 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, ⁶ who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, ⁷ but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. ⁸ And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.  Philippians 2:5-8

In conclusion, Jesus said, “And I, if I am ^[a]lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.” John 12:32 If we lift up Yeshua then hungry people will gravitate towards us naturally. He is the bread of life. It’s like offering a hungry crowd food. You don’t have to ask twice they will come. However, if we lift up ourselves by trying to build a platform or church nobody will come. We cannot satisfy the hungry. We cannot in our own selves do anything outside of what He tells us or His power or grace. We need to remain in Him. Remember this is not a competition in gaining recognition. Yeshua did not have social media platforms. He had love. This will always be the key ingredient to building the Kindgom of Yahweh.

 

Why America Is Losing The Battle

In a restless sleep and dream, I saw God's army it was in complete disarray. Some of God's army had gotten entangled in civilian affairs, others had gone AWOL, some were fighting alone and others were badly injured. The most dangerous soldiers are those who wore the same uniform as those in the army of the Lord but secretly worked for the enemy. Can you imagine fighting in a war just to be fired upon by those you thought were there to protect you or relying on soldiers who ran scared or decided to go back to a civilian status just to leave you alone on the battlefield? After this prophetic vision, I had more like a year ago I was inspired of the Lord to write this to the church. Why is America losing the battle? Why the turmoil? Why the marked division among us? Here is what the Lord gave me.

Number one reason America is losing the battle:

 

We are losing the battle because we have Achans in the camp.

What do I mean by that? Let’s look at Joshua 7. Israel (US) has sinned, and they have also transgressed My covenant which I commanded them. For they have even taken some of the accursed things, and have both stolen and deceived; and they have also put it among their own stuff. ¹² Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they have become doomed to destruction. Neither will I be with you anymore, unless you destroy the accursed from among you. ¹³ Get up, sanctify the people, and say, ‘Sanctify yourselves for tomorrow, because thus says the Lord God of Israel: “There is an accursed thing in your midst, O Israel; you cannot stand before your enemies until you take away the accursed thing from among you.” Joshua 7:11-13 This is going to be a very strong prophetic statement but as long as there is compromise and sin in the camp we are going to continue to lose ground to the enemy and suffer defeat individually and nationally. The answer is and always will be to get rid of sin, compromise, and become sanctified before the Lord.

 

We don’t recognize the real enemy

As long as we believe we are each other’s enemy we will never win the battle against the real enemy of our soul. The mission of the devil will always remain the same; steal, kill, and destroy. If you see stealing, killing, and destruction, you will know that this is from the devil. Jesus made a marked distinction between his mission and the devil’s. The thief (devil) does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10 If you call yourself a Christian and are involved in the devil’s mission then you are a defector. No Christian should ever be involved in violence. Jesus said this to Peter, “Put your sword in its place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword.” Matthew 26:52 While we all point fingers at each other the devil laughs in the corner as he watches the fight he instigated. Of course, pride won’t let us see past the hatred, resentment, and anger we have toward each other. We have allowed sin against us to create sin in us. The devil’s strategy is to let himself into our life through the above sins so then he can gain ground in our own life. We can’t fall for this trick. The devil knows that if he can enter in through anger he can co-habitat with us. “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, ²⁷ nor give place to the devil.  Ephesians 4:26-27 That word place means habitation in the Greek. If the devil can get us into our emotions instead of truth and get us to focus on how we feel instead of what is Kingdom he can deceive us. The Bible exhorts us to actively guard our hearts. “Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23 What are we guarding our hearts against? Here is a short list: offense, anger, resentment, unforgiveness, anger, suspicion, accusation, and anything that would make our flesh rise up. More than ever we need to hyper-vigilant as the Bible exhorts us “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” 1 Peter 5:8

We don't realize we are called to battle

Along with not even recognizing the real enemy of our soul perhaps the biggest problem with the church is that we forget that we are in a war in the first place. If that wasn’t the case God wouldn’t have given us spiritual armor. We will always be at war with the kingdom of darkness until the return of Christ. Just look around you and our cities have become war zones because America is being destroyed from within. Each group accuses the other of racism, intolerance, prejudice, hate while doing the same exact thing they are accusing the other group of. What is the root of all this contention, strife, and contempt?

Pride, fear, intolerance, hatred have gripped the hearts of the people even those who claim to be Christians. Sadly, our hearts are battling a disease that cannot be cured with anything else but humility, faith, and the love of God. In a vision I had in 2020 I saw a long scaly tail. Like what you would see on a crocodile. I knew that I was seeing the spirit of Leviathan it was wrapped around the White House. The spirit of pride has gripped this nation. Pride is the open door to almost every sin. He who is of a proud heart stirs up strife, But he who trusts in the Lord will be prospered. Proverbs 28:25 An angry man stirs up strife, And a furious man abounds in transgression. Proverbs 29:22

Like I said before, humility and love are key in responding to a nation in turmoil worshipping Jesus in the streets have been effective in not only pulling down spiritual strongholds but being a light in these tumultuous times. Worship is a powerful weapon against the kingdom of darkness. It is a way of establishing God’s Kingdom. But thou art holy, O thou that inhabits the praises of Israel.  Psalm 22:3

We have run in the face of battle

Not only have we been in denial about the spiritual war around us; we have run in the heat of the battle. I believe that the church will need to answer to God for closing the churches down in a time when people needed Him the most. While people were being isolated and faced the uncertainty of these end times; the church was hiding in fear. I couldn’t believe how many churches were ready to comply by closing their doors when so many people were hurt, confused, and depressed. They had nowhere to go to deal with the chaos that was falling on the world. There is no condemnation here because the early disciples hid, forsook their faith, and abandoned Jesus too. Then something changed them that also changed world history. What happened? They spent time in unified prayer, seeking God for His power, and were transformed by the Holy Spirit. They became his witnesses. They were bold, full of faith and courage.

 Jesus said, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)

“And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.” Acts 4:31 Now more than ever we need disciples who are going walk in powerful demonstration of God’s Spirit.

 

We have not counted the cost 

Why have run from the battle? Simple, we never counted the cost in the first place. “Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? 32 Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks conditions of peace. 33 So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.” Luke 14:31-33

Many people come to the altar after hearing how God can change their lives and how everything gets better. Rarely do sermons involve the message of repentance, laying your life down for Christ, denying yourself, picking up your cross to follow Jesus. The truth is many come to Jesus for self-centered reasons and they remain in a state of selfishness because of it. The mindset is what can God do for me? I once attended a church in which the Pastor’s favorite saying was, “What’s in it for me.” Along with that he spent time getting people from his church to invest in his business ideas and plans. That church closed shortly after I had a vision of yellow toxic waste barrels lying about in the church.

In Jesus’ day, the disciples had a whole different way of looking at things than the American church. They were prepared to die from the get-go. When Jesus told them they had to pick up their cross they knew that it meant death. Why? They witnessed the open execution of people on crosses. It was common in their time. They counted the cost of following Christ. Those who got offended or did not want to let go of things or made excuses simply weren’t followers of Christ. Now or days these same people can pretend to be followers of Christ in American church culture. There is nobody to challenge them. However, I prophesy to you that we are coming to the end of that and as persecution comes to America we will see a marked difference between the sheep and the goats. How can you tell between a sheep and the goats? The sheep will be grazing in God’s Word. The goats will be grazing in the world. The sheep will leave all to follow Jesus. The goats will want to hang onto their old life instead of dying in Christ. The good news is a goat can become a sheep. They only need to die as a goat so they can be a sheep. To be honest though unless you are willing to count the cost you will never pay the price.

We have misplaced our loyalty

Another troubling trend is placing our loyalty in all the wrong places. Must I say that before we pledge our allegiance to our flag, race, gender, political party, denomination, nation, creed and etc we are first followers of Jesus Christ and His Kingdom! That’s why there is so much strife and division even in the church. We are followers of Jesus Christ; period. Jesus did not get involved in the politics of this world. He came to establish His own Kingdom and that should be our pursuit as well. Don’t get me wrong we should take seats in places of government, be a voice, an influence in our nation but our loyalty must be to Jesus first.

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.” John 18:36 Until we start being followers of Jesus and make our objective establishing His Kingdom we will continue to have division and strife among us.

We have abandoned our positions

Many of us have abandoned our positions within God's army to go back to being plain old civilians! Jesus said, “Watch and pray!” This word watch is a military term to stay at our post in prayer so that we don’t get ambushed by the enemy. This is what he told his disciples as a warning before Judas came to sell them out. They weren’t ready for this demonic ambush because they were sleeping instead of praying. Our most important position is to be gatekeepers or watchmen on the wall so to speak. Gatekeepers decide what is permitted here on earth. Watchmen oversee cities, regions, and nations. They watch for spiritual ambushes and attacks. They also watch for changes in spiritual climates. They warn and are ready to attack whatever will try to get through the walls or boundaries of God’s Kingdom. We need to be like the laborers in Nehemiah’s time when they were rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. They had weapons in one hand and building tools in the other hand. Those who built on the wall, and those who carried burdens, loaded themselves so that with one hand they worked at construction, and with the other held a weapon. Nehemiah 4:17 We are not only mandated to set at liberty the captive but also we are called to the local, regional, and national restoration of communities. It starts with us, and our families first.
And they shall rebuild the old ruins,
They shall raise up the former desolations,
And they shall repair the ruined cities,
The desolations of many generations. Isaiah 61:4

Many of us have gotten caught up in civilian affairs

Some of us have become entangled with the things of this world. 

 You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4 No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. 2 Timothy 2:3-4

Once again in warfare, we can’t get so caught up in the things of this world that we forget our mission. Our mission is to first to become like him but after that, we are to pull those out of the crossfires of Satan who unknowingly are headed for destruction. It is easy to get caught up in the ordinary affairs of life. We can get caught up in the family, work, and even “ministry” but none of it has anything to do with our mission. What is our mission description?
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
    because the Lord has anointed me
    to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
    to proclaim freedom for the captives
    and release from darkness for the prisoners,  Isaiah 61:1

This was the first statement Jesus made regarding his mission in the New Testament. It is important to Jesus to heal the brokenhearted and set at liberty the captives as I stated above. We were all birthed in God’s Kingdom for a purpose. That purpose never has changed.
And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. ¹⁶ He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. ¹⁷ And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; ¹⁸ they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:15-18

We have stopped listening to the direction of Jesus who is the Lord of Hosts

There isn’t anything more confusing to those who are in a battle than to have that one soldier who is operating under their own direction. There is only one General and his name is Jesus the Lord of Hosts! In our lives releasing control over to God is the scariest proposition especially if you have been under somebody else’s witchcraft or control. However, allowing Jesus to be Lord of Hosts is essential to winning this war. Let’s look at some successful generals in the Bible; David and Moses.

David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I pursue this band [of raiders]? Will I overtake them?” And He answered him, “Pursue, for you will certainly overtake them, and you will certainly rescue [the captives].” 1 Samuel 30:8

 

Here’s David a man of war who consistently inquired of the Lord before he engaged the enemy. He knew that his victory in the battle was primarily because of God being with him.

 

Moses said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.” Exodus 33:15

Even though Moses was a prophet who heard from God he still never assumed that God would bless his projects or leadings outside of God’s presence. It is easy to get caught up in “ministry” and forget that we need to abide in Him to bear fruit.

Some of us have become defectors
What is a defector? It is someone who abandons their allegiance to a person, cause or doctrine. If there is anything more troubling in the church today is the abandoning of the teachings of Jesus. The great falling away of the Bible is indeed here. We see many people who say they are Christians that have walked away from sound Biblical truths to have their ears itched by false doctrines and teachers. This was prophesied about in the book of 2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; ⁴ and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

 

Many Americans profess to be Christians but openly live lifestyles contrary to what they profess they believe. They believe they can live in the world and still carry a Christian label. The truth is they are in apostasy and have become defectors in the Kingdom of God.

Some of us have gone MIA or missing in action

To go MIA means to be sent to war and not come back. One of the greatest lies a Christian can believe is that they can never become a statistic. They believe that they can go into a war without armor, unskilled at battle, let their guard down, and pretend they are soldiers of Christ when in reality they are defectors. The enemy right away recognizes those who are vulnerable and are still his captives. While some people may come back by God’s grace like the prodigal son, some never come back, and are destroyed by the enemy. They never fulfill the call or purpose in their life because they give up in the midst of battle or are deceived into defecting to the other side. Their light shone brightly for a season but they burned out and were never heard of again. They were never grounded in God’s Word.

 

“But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: ²⁷ and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” (Matthew 7:26)

It’s time for the church to rise to the battle and become pillars of hope in a generation that is desperate to see authentic, loving, and battle ready Christians who are in it to win it. If this message has challenged you please pray with me the following:

 

Father, please forgive us for allowing others to incite anger, resentment, unforgiveness, rebellion, and sedition. We realize that this is a trap of the devil to get us into sin so that the doors will get opened in our own lives. We repent for taking sides, blame-shifting, accusation, fear-mongering, and idolatry. You alone are our savior. Our hope rests in you. We repent for getting caught up in civilian affairs, running in the face of battle, being defectors instead of being sold out to God’s Kingdom. We repent for not watching and praying. Father, we choose to be loyal to you and follow your son Jesus. Give us now the grace and strength to rise up to the battle, fully armored and fully surrendered to you in Jesus name!

 

Wide Road of Destruction

Today the Holy Spirit gave me a vision. He showed me a Wide Road and a Narrow Road. As I looked at the Wide Road I could see some writing on it. It said, “Jesus, Me and it included a sin or something that a person didn’t want to let go of.” The Narrow road said, “Jesus and Me.” The reason the wide road was wide was because on that road people were including an idol they didn’t want to let go of or a sin. They wanted to include it alongside the way Jesus would have us live. In other words, on the wide road, they were eating off two tables. They were eating from the delicacies of the world and the table of God. They were serving two masters. They were incorporating Jesus into their lifestyle of sin and still doing the church thing. Sadly, I’ve been on this wide road. I lived a life I thought was a Christian lifestyle but I was also living in sin. I didn’t think it was a sin because everyone in the church was doing it. What am I talking about? Getting married and remarried. It's adultery. Before anyone starts to feel condemned I just want to say that whatever you have done God will forgive you. You just need to confess it, repent of it and crucify that lifestyle in baptism; more on that later.

I want to tell you that I almost went to hell because I thought I could live for God any way that I wanted to. I walked on that wide road of destruction until the Holy Spirit showed me what hell looked like and showed me that I was standing at the wide gate of destruction. The Holy Spirit literally had to shout to my spirit "Repent and get baptized and come out of the apostate church!" This shook me to my very core. For five nights I trembled under the heavy hand of God. I was living a lie. I was living in a fake reality called a delusion. What’s so alarming about this is that many reading this are under that same false reality. You really think you are going to heaven while secretly engaged in sin. You think that God does not see, or is somewhat okay with it because you’ve been getting away with it for so long. You may be fooling everyone else but you are not fooling God. If you are reading this and are playing games with God, or think you can sin and still go to heaven I'm here to tell you that you're dead wrong. Jesus warns us of being deceived. The truth is that I never thought it could happen to me. Pride and self-righteousness blinded me to the truth. By God’s mercy I woke up. Tragically many won’t. The Wide Road offers the perks of Christianity while still actively engaged in sin. Jesus said, “Whoever finds his life [in this world] will [eventually] lose it [through death], and whoever loses his life [in this world] for My sake will find it [that is, life with Me for all eternity].” Matthew 10:39 What we do for God will never make up for obedience. God’s power on your life is not God’s approval on your life.

Listen friends, I had to become broken in my heart about what I had been doing. I had to realize I was going to stand before a holy God. I had to tremble in my heart and knees. Though our righteousness is through faith in Christ we still need to crucify the flesh. “And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature together with its passions and appetites. Galatians 5:24 What shall we say [to all this]? Should we continue in sin and practice sin as a habit so that [God’s gift of] grace may increase and overflow? 2 Certainly not! How can we, the very ones who died to sin, continue to live in it any longer? 3 Or are you ignorant of the fact that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?” Romans 6:1-3 Just like many of you, no one told me I need to get buried and crucified with Jesus. I only became a professing Christian because baptism was only symbolic. However, after this encounter around three years ago, I was crucified with Christ and am now being sanctified by His grace. I am being transformed and renewed in my mind. Every day I ask God to dismantle fear from my life and perfect me in His love. This is why I could even write this. I fear God more than fear anyone who will read this and judge me for it. I don’t care. I know there are going to be many people who the Lord is going to convict who read this. I’m praying it will literally make you stop dead in your tracks look down and see what road you’re on. I pray that you will then change your mind (repent) about what you are doing and turn around. If the Holy Spirit is speaking to you and convicting you please let me know so you too can repent and get baptized. Whoever you are please turn around and walk towards God because hell is real. Heaven is better. Don't believe the lie that you have more time. You don’t know when you will die and appear before Him. Come back to Jesus asap!

Let us pray: Jesus I feel the conviction of the Holy Spirit and I bow my head in humility. Forgive me for being so arrogant to think that I can live by different rules or somehow your Word does not apply to me. That somehow my ministry, talents, or gifts are God's approval on my life. Lord, I repent for ______and I ask you to forgive me. I forgive all those who have hurt me and transgressed against me. Holy Spirit I repent of all pride and self-righteousness, open my eyes to anything that offends you. Lord deliver me from all demonic influence and strongholds in Jesus' name! Set me free from all oppression and heal my heart from all brokenness. Lord, help me find someone who will baptize me. I’m ready to surrender and die so that my life might be hidden in you.
