Triage - Prophetic Insight

I heard the word “Triage.” This was in January of 2024. When I enquired of the Lord what this meant He gave me the example of a hospital setting where people come to get medical attention. The term “triage” comes from the French word for “sort.” In the hospital setting, it’s the process by which patients are assessed and prioritized based on the type and urgency of their conditions. It is determining if someone is sick or not sick and how quickly they need to be seen.

In a church setting it is also assessing, and prioritizing the urgency and level of care people are going to need when they come into the church. Why this is important, it is because the Lord wants his ecclesia (His remnant) to be ready for the End Time Harvest. Even now the Lord is raising End Time Harvesters but wants His people to be trained in various areas to help those who will be coming in. This mandate is only for those who are willing to lay down their life for the sheep. I hear the Lord say, “The Celebrity Gospel is over and the Lord is going to raise the Mother Theresa’s of the Street.”

The areas that will require training will be: Mental Health that will require Deliverance, Abuse that will require inner healing, Domestic Violence, Addiction, Marriages/Families and people coming out of the LGBTQ community. I hear the Lord say, “Crisis.” There is going to be a huge crisis emerging and we will need to be ready. The Lord has been already speaking to many of you to prepare so don’t delay. Preparations must be made. Kingdom finances need to be spent for harvest as well as time and resources. Kingdom managers and entrepreneurs are being raised up to finance the End Time Harvest. Please don’t delay your ideas and put them into place. Do not be like the unwise servant who hid their talents because they were afraid of things not being good enough for the Master.

“The servant given one thousand said, ‘Master, I know you have high standards and hate careless ways, that you demand the best and make no allowances for error. I was afraid I might disappoint you, so I found a good hiding place and secured your money. Here it is, safe and sound down to the last cent.’

26-27 “The master was furious. ‘That’s a terrible way to live! It’s criminal to live cautiously like that! If you knew I was after the best, why did you do less than the least? The least you could have done would have been to invest the sum with the bankers, where at least I would have gotten a little interest.

28-30 “‘Take the thousand and give it to the one who risked the most. And get rid of this “play-it-safe” who won’t go out on a limb. Throw him out into utter darkness.’ Matthew 25:24-30 MSG

There is no condemnation here but please understand that we will give an account for the stewardship of everything that has been given to us. This is the point of this parable. Pay close attention to Matthew chapters 24 and 25 as well as Joel chapters 2 and 3 we will be living out of these chapters. There is a rapid acceleration and many of you will feel it as the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of darkness vet for souls. Many will wake up and realize that they have been apostasy and will return. Some will allow disappointment with the sin in the church to cause their hearts to grow cold. Don’t let that be you. Some will awaken to their true purpose and destiny! They will become the Esthers and Josephs of our modern time; garnering the favor of our King and storing up grain for the Kingdom!

I hear the Lord say, “I’m going to expose the warlock and witches in my church! I’m throwing them out and all the hirelings with them. Don’t feel sorry for those I expose. You keep your eyes on Me and continue to listen to the Spirit of Truth even if it hurts you to hear it!”

Lastly,

I heard the Lord say, “The drought is over.” He gave me this scripture out of Joel.

Be glad then, you children of Zion,

And rejoice in the Lord your God;

For He has given you the former rain faithfully,

And He will cause the rain to come down for you—

The former rain,

And the latter rain in the first month.

The threshing floors shall be full of wheat,

And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil. Joel 2:23-24

The Latter Rain is here. Let us get ready for harvest! I am speaking to my Nehemiah’s now, “Pick up your hammer and sickle. It’s time for apostolic building and equipping. It is time to fill my Ark! Come on, preachers of righteousness don’t retreat upon their insults nor be dismayed at their delusions. You keep your eyes fixed on Me. Get out of their social media mud pools."

"Those of you who insist on tearing down my Kingdom with your words will be marked and have no part of what I am about to do. I don’t tear people down, I remind them of who they are so they can live up to their identity in me. Many of you miss the point of the gospel. I came to seek and save which is lost. I leave the 99 for the one. I forgive 70 x 7. I did not come into the world to condemn the world. Am I slack? No. I am not willing that anyone should perish. I am also not a pushover God that will allow you to insult the Spirit of Grace. It is more important that you know my heart than for you to know the scriptures or my laws. The Pharisees knew the scriptures but couldn’t even recognize Me when I sat with them and could not properly interpret my words because their hearts were full of pride and they only had head knowledge. Learn from this. I desire that you would know mercy. I desire that you would have My heart above church attendance, scripture knowledge, repetitious prayers, and even evangelistic efforts. Without my love, your achievements will amount to nothing more than a facade of godliness or religious practices, lacking the essence of who I truly am. Eternal life is found in knowing Me, I Am Love.

Prophetic Message: Collision Course

Introduction:

In the midst of the chaotic world we live in, have you ever had a sense that something significant is happening? That we have crossed a threshold, venturing beyond the point of no return? Such thoughts have been weighing on my heart, and I believe it's crucial to pay attention to the signs around us. Today, I want to share with you my reflections on the current state of affairs and the urgency for spiritual preparedness.

The Acceleration: It feels as if we are aboard a speeding train, hurtling through time with a sense of recklessness. We, the passengers, are engrossed in the distractions inside the train, oblivious to the world passing by. Yet, a shift has occurred. We sense it in the very atmosphere, affecting even the weather. We must open our eyes and see the truth unfolding before us.

Scripture reminds us of the words spoken by the prophet Daniel: "But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge" (Daniel 12:4). In these last days, knowledge is indeed increasing exponentially. Technological advancements and global connectivity are transforming our world at an unprecedented pace. It is a clear sign that we are living in prophetic times.

The Warning: While the train of our lives hurtles forward, it is crucial to recognize the danger we face. We are dangerously close to veering off the rails. The collision course we are on with something beyond our imagination will shock us for years to come. The COVID-19 pandemic may have been a wake-up call, but what lies ahead will surpass even that.

In these times, it is essential to be firmly anchored to Jesus. We must be rooted in His love, walking in obedience, and in tune with the Holy Spirit. There is no room for fence-sitting or pursuing our own agendas. As followers of Christ, we have a mandate to advance God's Kingdom.

The Call to Action: While many remain unaware, there are those who have looked out of the windows and discerned the signs. They understand the urgency of the hour. If you are reading this, you might be one of those people. You are called to be a light in the darkness, to stand firmly on the side of truth and righteousness.

Let us come together as the body of Christ, united in purpose. As we witness the approaching collision, let us intensify our prayer meetings. Let us seek the face of God and intercede for our families, communities, and nations. For it is through prayer that we align ourselves with God's will and invite His intervention in these tumultuous times.

Scripture tells us, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Conclusion: The signs of the times are all around us. The world is changing rapidly, and we must not be caught off guard. By staying connected to Jesus, rooted in His love, and guided by the Holy Spirit, we can navigate the challenges ahead.

Let us heed the warning, intensify our prayers, and work together to advance God's Kingdom. The collision course we are on requires our utmost commitment and dedication. May we be found faithful, ready to face the future with unwavering faith and hope.

Are you prepared for what is to come?

False Christ Deception

In Matthew 24 Jesus leaves us a chilling description of what was to come in the last days. One of the first things that Jesus warned his disciples about, was the false Christ deception that would occur before His coming. He warned that mass deception would cause the love of believers to wax cold and bring about a great apostasy

Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” 4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. Matthew 24:3-5

The first sign of Jesus' imminent return isn't large earthquakes, food shortages, pandemics and wars; like described in Matthew 24:6-8. "These things must come to pass, but the end is not yet." The first sign of His coming would be the false christ deception that would cause many Christians to walk away from their faith. I have been saved for 30 years and I can honestly say that heresy, deception and delusion are occurring on a mass scale. These false teachers have seduced believers into thinking they could live their lives anyway they want, and God will approve of their deeds. They have cajoled the masses all the while condemning their souls to hell. The conviction of the Holy Spirit is rarely felt in church anymore because the truth has been replaced with motivational speeches, that only encourage the soul but rarely challenge people to pick up their cross, and follow Him. Worship has become a place of entertainment and has been replaced with secular music in some churches. The presence of God has been replaced by hyperactive "feel good" activities, and programs to keep the masses happy.

Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow "wax" cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:11-14

Again, Jesus warns for the second time that false prophets who would cause the deception of many people. He warned that their lawlessness would cause the hearts of others to "wax" cold. In the original Greek this word Jesus used means psucho "wax" which means growing cold by reduction of temperature and evaporation. This is what is happening now. The hearts of men are growing colder as the church has turned down the fire level in their preaching. The presence of God has been evaporating from the church as they have turned to a counterfeit gospel. What is interesting is that psucho "wax" also means inanimate breeze. Inanimate means not endowed with life or Spirit! This is exactly what has happened in the churches. They have become lifeless, dead, and barren. The Holy Spirit has long left that place, leaving dry bones sitting on pews, who go over dusty old pages of liturgy, and who are left with nothing more than tradition. The Holy Spirit no longer moves there. The spirit of religion will always leave behind a lifeless church.

Let's look at the word lawlessness mentioned in the above scripture. It is defined in the following passage:
"Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness."
1 John 3:4

Sadly, the lawlessness and scandals of the church have caused people to become embittered against God. They see people who were highly anointed, falling from the high pedestals they had them on, and causing great disappointment among believers. Many people have come to feel that if their leaders can't live for God, how can they? Unfortunately, when these leaders fall, it causes Christians to become displaced, and discouraged. Some never return to church again and some walk away from God completely.

Again Jesus warns that "For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand.  Matthew 24:24-25

For a third time Jesus warns against false christs or false Christians. Jesus said that even the "elect" would be deceived by the great signs and wonders performed by those who come in His name. This word "elect" means chosen. Many people believe once saved always saved. Jesus said that even His chosen would be deceived by these great impostors. No one is exempt from deception. This is why we must diligently guard our hearts and minds. Paul also warns that people would depart from the faith because they gave heed to deceiving spirits.

Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons 1 Timothy 4:1

Paul also warns of the falling away. The rapture will not come unless the falling away comes first, followed by the Anti-Christ.

Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition 2 Thessalonians 2:3

How can we be deceived you may wonder? Sin is deceitful and alluring. Hebrews 3:12-13 "Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; but exhort one another daily, while it is called 'Today,' lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin." Sin not only can seduce you and deceive you but over time it can cause you to become hardened. It is much easier to take the path of least resistance than to take the narrow road. Taking the narrow road means a death process, denial, and suffering. This is not something many are willing to do to inherit the kingdom of God. Our ministry and good works will not be enough to get us into heaven. Please note the following scripture.

Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Matthew 7:22-23

I want you to understand that I am not against signs and wonders. Signs and wonders will follow all those who believe! However, walking in the power of God isn't always proof that someone is from God. Remember Balaam prophesied but his heart was full of covetousness. Not all that glitters is gold. As you can see these mightily anointed ministers called Jesus Lord but were walking in sin and were not recognized by Jesus. He will declare to them that He never knew them. I believe Jesus will say this because those who claim to be His, will not look like Him.  They will also have no intimacy with Him because of the sin in their life.

I would like to point out that sinning and "practicing" sin is very different. We all fall short. I'm talking about when people willfully sin, taking advantage of God's grace because they know God will forgive them but have no intention of stopping what they are doing. The problem with this mindset is, that eventually they will no longer feel conviction because their "conscience has gotten seared." 1 Timothy 4:2 I have seen many Christians eventually become demonized because they allowed what they have been delivered from to return to their life.

"When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says, 'I will return to my house from which I came.' And he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it be with this wicked generation." Matthew 12:43-45

I am convinced that demonization will be a troubling trend in the future as more people will be filled with more wickedness than before. If you have been habitually sinning, understand that you need to repent which means go and sin no more! Please don't become a casualty and lose your inheritance over enjoying temporary pleasure. If you have sinned, please know that God will forgive you.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

If in doubt the following scripture clarifies what sins will keep those who are supposed to be heirs out of the kingdom. Don't be deceived you can not enter the kingdom of God willfully sinning. If you die in your sin you will certainly not go to heaven! This means friends, if you are found dead with a crack pipe in your hand or died of an overdose, you will not be entering into heaven. I am amazed how we try to water this down for famous people or people we feel should join us in God's presence. I think the reality of hell is too much for us to think about so we try to imagine that those who died in their sin, some how made it to heaven. This is deception. Not everyone will make it to heaven no matter how famous, talented, liked or popular they were. When we realize this, we will make every effort to save the lost, and help others come out of their deception.  We can't fellowship with people who are lawless. Let's look at the scripture.

I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people.  10 Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. 11 But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person. 1 Corinthians 5:9-11

You can't live in adultery, homosexuality, drug addiction, drunkenness, expecting to get into heaven. A lot of people always tell you not to judge them when you are exposing their sin. However, judging and discerning are different. The kind of judging we are not allowed to do is to have a condemning and critical attitude. The bible says in John 3:19 that loving darkness condemns people. This is how we will know. People can say they love God all day but their lifestyle will prove it. In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother. 1 John 3:10 We must use the word of God to make these distinctions to keep ourselves from being deceived.

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them. Matthew 7:15-20

I'm amazed how many of these false teachers get away with living in sin and people still follow them. Once again we are exhorted to examine the fruit of those who are teaching us. I have known super anointed people who live a double life. Don't be fooled! If you think that they are in sin or compromise; stop following them immediately! God does not want us to be in fellowship with people who are living in hypocrisy. If you suspect that someone is living a double life the bible tells us to go to them.

“Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. 16 But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’17 And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector. Matthew 18:15-17

If you are going to bring correction to a leader make sure you have two or three witnesses. Do not receive an accusation against an elder except from two or three witnesses. 20 Those who are sinning rebuke in the presence of all, that the rest also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:19

Remember we need to expose sin out of right heart motivation. Our goal is always to bring people to repentance and reconciliation to our Father. Also, we need to protect people from ship wrecking in a failed ministry. I think the saddest time in my life was when our Pastor was in sin and nobody told us until it was too late. People kept leaving, including our bible school teachers but nobody bothered to make sure we would survive the disaster. As a result, we floated out there for a year or so. No one bothered to pray over us or find out if we were healing. Instead, we became subjected to damaging gossip and slander. Thankfully we were reached by the Lord through a prophetic word, that brought healing to our hearts. We found a good church and were restored. Thank God!

Confronting sin is not always comfortable. If in doubt always side with mercy and love because if it weren't for the grace of God we too could fall into sin. Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Galatians 6:1

Let us pray:

Father, I commit to live for you and be careful to examine the fruit of those who claim to be your followers. I ask that you would keep me from deception. Increase my level of discernment between those who are leading others astray and those who just need to mature. Jesus examine my heart and my fruit. Show me the areas that need to change and help me surrender them to you. I pray you would cleanse from all defilement and false teaching in Jesus name, amen.

As in the Days of Noah

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
(Matthew 24:36-39)

Prophesying of the end of the age, Jesus gives a prophetic picture of the last days before His coming. He compares the last days as "as the days of Noah." Even though we may not know the exact time of His coming we can look for the signs of His return. He tells us that before the flood, people were carrying on like normal. They were still conducting their lives and affairs without a single concern of a flood coming up until the very end. They were still going to parties, getting married, going to those bars to drink, and enjoying all this world has to offer. What this tells me is that the end will come on a day that seems like any other day. Yes, there will be signs on the highway but people will keep driving to their intended destination. Just like Caltrans, God will be putting out the cones on the highway and putting up warning signs way ahead of the actual danger area but many will not heed the warnings.

Every year people that ignore these signs, end up on the nightly news report, being swept away in flood waters after they decided to go around what was meant to protect them. Some drown or lose their cars because they thought the situation was less critical than it actually was. Let's not forget the people who get warned to leave their homes in oncoming fires, hurricanes and tornados. We have developed a system to protect human lives and reduce casualties but people can be deceived about their ability to ride out the storm. Hurricane Katrina was a prime example of that. Many people perished unnecessarily because they did not correctly assess the seriousness of the situation.

My friends when Jesus returns we won't be able to ride out the storm. We will either be ready or we will become a casualty. If a fireman or rescue worker comes to your house, to tell you that you are in the way of impending disaster, you better listen. Don't gamble your life against the elements. Don't think you are exempted from the coming danger. As in the days of Noah, the bible tells us that God, "did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly" 2 Peter 2:4-5 Think about this, only eight people survived the floods that Noah prophesied about. Only eight gave heed to the signs and warnings. The people who were carrying on their normal lives must have thought Noah was a mad man working on that enormous ship. It must have took years of watching him build it with all the time to mock him. God's word says Noah was preaching righteousness to a world who had fallen into great wickedness. He wasn't placating them or making less of the situation. He wasn't telling them that they would be ok when clearly they were going to get swept away. He must have tried to compel them day and night to enter that ark until the very hand of God closed the doors to the ark.

Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. Genesis 6:5-6

The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth. And God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Genesis 6:11-13

What was this great wickedness that would make God destroy the ancient world?

If you read the scripture carefully the reason God destroyed the earth is mentioned twice here in Genesis. VIOLENCE! The bible says their thoughts and hearts were wicked continually. The very motivation of their hearts was evil. Everything had gotten corrupted. In the book of Enoch which is not a book in the bible says that people had resorted to cannibalism, witchcraft, and drugs. Violence had taken over and the sin of Cain had infected mankind. Fast forward to today. Just in the last few weeks there has been one mass shooting a week. In 2012 a Florida man stands naked eating a homeless man's face. In another incident, a college student in Maryland ate another fellow student that shared the dorm with him. Also in that same year I believe a neighbor ate someone else's dog in a drug induced act of animal cruelty. These acts are beyond human comprehension. In 2011 in a video called "Church on Life Support" I prophesied of an increase of violence unless we turned back to God as a nation. I warned of persecution. We have seen the increase of both since I prophesied this. Also, after the release of this word we also saw the Boston Marathon Bombings, the 12 murders in the theater, in Aurora, Colorado, and the shootings of 37 people at Sandy Hook Elementary. Schools and college campuses have become a hazardous place to be as they have become a common place of violence.

Even in the face of these signs we have not made a concerted effort to turn back to God. We have debated over gun control, enforced stricter laws and pointed fingers at one another. None of these things will stop the evil in the heart's of men. More than just seeing these things as symptoms of the increase of violence TV, video games, and media; we need to see these things as signs of His coming. The persecution and murder of thousands of Christians all over the world like Syria, Egypt and other Middle Eastern countries are also signs that we are nearing the end of age. "For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened." (Matthew 24:21-22)

Dear reader, there is a reason Hollywood is going to release a movie about the time of Noah. God inspired them. There is a reason that you feel uneasy every time you wake up. There is a reason there is a show called Doomsday Preppers. Everyone all around us feels it. We can try to ignore the obvious but the signs keep appearing on the road we are on, they say, "Caution up ahead!" Some of you know that you should be saying something but you remain silent as people race by you on their way to their destruction. How can you say you love people when you are allowing them to stay on the path that leads to death? Don't you know that we are called to be fire fighters and emergency personnel so we can get people out of harm's way? How will they know unless someone tells them? Will you wait until the flames lick their house and their death is certain? A way of escape was already made for them why not share it with them. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life! He made a way out through His son. It is time to get out there and say something because LOVE WARNS!

We Must Decrease That He May Increase

Thus says the Lord:
 Jeremiah 6:16
Love is so attractive and in essence that is who He is. If we are to have revival we must become love. We must decrease so He can increase. So my friends there lies the root of the problem. We have increased ourselves so much in the sight of others that they don't see Him anymore! The only solution is to take up the cross and deny ourselves. We must put away selfish ambition and empty conceit; esteeming others higher than ourselves. Philippians 2:3-4 We must humbly concede all of our plans to God so that He can take over our services and ministries. Then we must become like that humble man (William Seymour) at Azusa Street who buried his face between wooden crates and prayed for God's presence to visit His people.

“Stand in the ways and see,
And ask for the old paths, where the good way is,
And walk in it;
Then you will find rest for your souls.

What people are really looking for is the presence of God. Not another song, another motivational speech, conference or guest speaker. They just want Jesus but we get in His way because we want to be seen. This world just wants to see Jesus but they see human flesh and are turned off by it.

Our mantra should be the cry of the Welsh Revival "bend us." Their plan of action:
1. Confess all known sin
2. Deal with and get rid of anything ‘doubtful’ in your life
3. Be ready to obey the Holy Spirit instantly
4. Confess Christ publicly

If we as a church were to truly just put into practice the 1st principle and humbly confess our sin; that alone would cause a great move of God! Before we can ever experience the times of refreshing we must come with penitent hearts. However, if we go around and act as if we are in need of nothing, we will not experience the very thing we need the most. The current mantra is: we have no sin, we need no conviction and we need no law! We are fine the way we are. The lukewarm church in Revelation also held the same view they did "not know that they were wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked." Yet the counsel of God remains the same, "I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see." (Revelations 3:18) It is only through the baptism of fire that may obtain the precious gold crown that Jesus wants to bestow on us.

My friends we can not wear a crown if we won't carry the cross. We have become ashamed of the gospel and rarely preach being crucified with Christ. We have replaced these biblical principles with modern doctrines that have steered us away from taking personal responsibility for the awful shape we are in. Yet, the bible warned us long ago... For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.
(1 Thess. 5:3-4)
Could it be that the pregnant church has not given birth to revival because of the lack of repentance? Jesus warned us “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many." Matthew 24:4-5 It is those who come in His name that we need to be worried about in these Last Days. Jesus tells us how we will know they are false prophets, "Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold." Matthew 24: 11-12 These are the mark of false prophets. They are lawless and Jesus will say to them in that day, "I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!" These ministers thought they could work mighty signs and wonders yet be living outside of God's laws and principles. There will be no such thing! Our sin will never enter into the Holy of Holies; nor will we, be able to flaunt our works before a holy God.

My friends, is there anything doubtful in our lives? Any sin? Let us confess to God what is causing us to stumble. Forgiving others who have hurt us. Laying down our pride. Picking up our cross and denying ourselves. Esteeming others higher than ourselves. Loving others unconditionally. It is what Jesus did. "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross." Philippians 2:5-8

Oh Father, make us humble bondservants. Give us the mind of Christ. Give us that love. Help us decrease. Increase in our lives. Father let us never be ashamed of preaching the cross that you so humbly died on. Bring revival to our nation and to our lives in Jesus name.

Doomsday Determinism

In the last few years we have heard all the doomsday predictions regarding this year and probably seen the movie 2012.  With the economy on a collision course with disaster and strange signs happening everyday it is not hard to imagine why so many people are stock piling weapons and food.  There is a strange anticipation that all things are coming to a conclusion…but are they?  There is also a common underlying mindset that we are only part of some predetermined events that cannot be changed and that these events will bring this whole world to a disastrous end in which we can only be spectators.  I will call this fatalistic determinism.

Determinism is humanistic philosophy that every event, including human cognition and behavior, decision and action, is causally determined by an unbroken chain of prior occurrences.  Fatalism is the philosophy that free will does not exist, meaning therefore, that history has progressed in the only manner possible.  Is also the belief that actions are free, but nevertheless work toward an inevitable end, which believes that acceptance is appropriate, rather than resistance against inevitability.  When taking an in-depth look at these philosophies nobody would ever admit to thinking in such a manner.  The truth is that these humanistic philosophies have been cleverly disguised behind end time doctrines.

What emerges then is the feeling of why should we pray, or do anything since it is all coming to an end anyway.  It also gives rise to feelings of apathy, lethargy and pessimism.  As people get focused on all the possible disaster scenarios, fear sets in, making the future look so bleak that faith gets pushed out of any conversation.  After all, what can our efforts do if God has already written the final chapters of our lives here on earth?  Maybe the there are some of us who may be secretly delighting ourselves in the final destruction of our enemies since we have our own escape plan in place.

In many ways this generation has been like the prophet Jonah; unwilling to tell our enemies that they will be destroyed unless they repent and unwilling to see God extend mercy to people we feel are deserving of His wrath.  Many of us see the story of Jonah as a fish tale when actually it an enduring lesson of God’s mercy and sovereignty.  It teaches us that even though God had scheduled Nineveh for destruction he had the power and right to relent of his anger.  In God’s great mercy He sent an unwilling prophet to preach the message of repentance.  Jonah went through tremendous discipline because of his rebellion to God’s cause.  To Jonah’s chagrin the people of Nineveh repented which upset him tremendously.  But the LORD said, “You have had pity on the plant for which you have not labored, nor made it grow, which came up in a night and perished in a night. 11 And should I not pity Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred and twenty thousand persons who cannot discern between their right hand and their left—and much livestock?” Jonah 4:10-11  In other words, Jonah, why are you upset that I decided to extend the lives of a people who don’t know me.

In a similar way God is speaking to us about His ability to extend our lives here on earth.  Think about it if EDD and the IRS can grant an extension to whomever they will, how much more can God do this for us here on earth.  Then God saw their works that they turned from their evil way; and God relented from the disaster that He had said He would bring upon them, and He did not do it. Jonah 3:10  No matter who prophesies disaster God can change his mind.  He doesn’t even care that Jonah looked bad in the end.  It didn’t mean Jonah was a false prophet it just meant God has the right to give anyone an extension as long as they meet His criteria.  His criterion is always repentance.  Look at the king Hezekiah.  In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said to him, “Thus says the LORD: ‘Set your house in order, for you shall die, and not live.’”2 Kings 20:1  So what did Hezekiah do?  He turned His face to the wall and prayed.  The Lord extended his life 15 years.

Some of us may feel limited by our economic and governmental state but remember that God chose Jesus to be born during the Roman occupation.  The Jews were heavily taxed and under tremendous economic strain.  They had no freedom except what was granted to them by the government.  It was also during the Roman occupation that the greatest outpouring of God’s presence poured out on Pentecost.  God is not limited by earthly government, economic crisis or disaster scenarios.  He is sovereign.  He will raise up Josephs and set them up in government positions during a famine to preserve a people.  He will bring an Esther to influence the highest person in government to keep His people from being destroyed.  Even in captivity he will set up a Daniel to speak to governmental leaders.  God will always deliver and preserve His people.

While in time of prayer and fasting the Lord gave me a vision of soil that had been turned over. The dirt was dark and fertile from being worked.  Out of the dirt I could see green tender shoots growing out of the ground.  The Lord showed me that the very thing that has been meant to oppress America can be the very catalyst for a great revival.  Why?  In our poverty we can now receive the riches of heaven.  In our natural hunger we can now become spiritually hungry.  In our brokenness we can now receive the comfort of our God.  In our humility we can now seek God’s greatness.  America has long lost her attractiveness to God but in this season He is busy working the fields of her heart by uprooting the idolatry of materialism, self, immorality and self righteousness.  God has a plan for this nation and it is of good not of evil.  Why would Jesus pay such a great price and allow the souls of this nation to go to hell in a hand basket?

Which brings me to the question at hand, will it all end in ( insert the latest doomsday date)?  This is the same question that disciples asked Jesus on the Mount of Olives.  The disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will all these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” Matthew 24:3  After this Jesus gives them the usual end time scenarios.  He who endures to the end shall be saved Jesus explains but still one more thing must be done for the end to come.14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.  Oh wait, the gospel must be preached first?  Yes.  How do we know that all this testing is only preparation for the greatest harvest ever?  It would only make sense that God would want the sacrifice the Jesus to bring in the maximum amount people into His kingdom.  That would make Him the winner over the devil wouldn’t it?  I’m praying that faith is now stomping out all fear in your heart.  Remember we are on the ark of God not in the waters of judgment waiting to get washed away.  Noah preached to several generations of people “Get on the boat people, a flood is coming.” There he was day after day working on God’s plan of salvation and he never gave up until the hand of the Lord shut the ark door.  How much more shall we who are heirs of salvation be diligently preaching “Get on the boat this world’s judgment is coming but you can be saved.” Can we not be like Abraham and plead for God’s mercy over Sodom?  We must remember that, “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”  Let us now declare a different outcome over the future of America…all things are possible to those who believe.  Who knows if He will turn and relent, And leave a blessing behind Him— A grain offering and a drink offering For the LORD your God? Joel 2:14
